Unique van het Appelsvoordehof is a five-year-old gelding with an exceptional pedigree: Echo van ’t Spieveld x Cascadello x Locato x Calypso I x Laddykiller. This bloodline brings together the best of Belgian and German breeding. His dam has already produced several 1.40–1.50m horses and carries the solid, correct German type. His sire, Echo van ’t Spieveld—a son of Heartbreaker—is known for passing on sharp-minded offspring with the right mentality for top sport.
For his age, Unique is remarkably rideable, with a particularly high-quality canter: balanced, powerful, and easy to adjust. That canter, combined with his natural suppleness, forms the foundation for his jumping ability.
