This six-year-old gelding by Chacfly PS, out of a Comme il Faut – Plot Blue mare, comes from some of the world’s most prestigious bloodlines. His dam, Penelope van ’t Ruytershof, successfully competed up to 1.45m with Dries Dekkers. The granddam was very successful at 1.40m with the breeder’s daughter, and the great-granddam jumped 1.60m with, among others, Constant van Paesschen and Niels Bruynseels. This family is filled with 1.60m performers; the list is so extensive that checking Hippomundo or Horsetelex is highly recommended.

His long-lined body clearly reveals his tremendous scope. The trot is light and regular, showing natural elasticity. Texas van ’t Ruytershof has a strong, ground-covering canter and can easily open his stride, which contributes to his calmness and elegance in the ring.

Over the jumps, he displays excellent technique—careful, correct, and with plenty of power. This gelding absolutely has the talent to compete in the highest hunter divisions with ease.
