Sakura vd Hooghoeve Z is a mature and eye-catching three-year-old mare by Spitfire, a son of Chacoon Blue and a promising young stallion ridden by Kevin Jochems. On the dam’s side, we find Cablo (Calato) × Quickfeuer van Koekshof, adding further proven sport blood to her pedigree.

Her dam, Kinky van de Nachtegaele, competed successfully at 1.40m level. Further back in the dam line, we also find the 1.60m horse Derryglen Othello, ridden by Neal Fearon.

Sakura is a beautiful, modern mare with plenty of presence. She stands out with her impressive trot and also has a big, powerful canter.

Over the fences, she shows very attractive technique. She jumps with quality, clearly shows scope and finishes every jump in a careful and consistent way. At the same time, she keeps a natural way of jumping and a very good attitude.
