This beautifully built five-year-old gelding is at the beginning of a very promising future. His sire I Am Codex, just like his own father Codex One ridden by Christian Ahlmann, is a stallion with exceptional presence and expression — qualities clearly visible in this gelding as well. On the dam’s side we find the Grand Prix horse Vagabond de la Pomme, successfully competed by Pénélope Leprevost.

In jumping, his qualities become immediately apparent: he shows a beautiful bascule over the fence, excellent front-leg technique, and each jump finishes smoothly and correctly. One Codex has an outstanding canter and performs flying changes with great ease. Notably — and very importantly — his canter is spacious, rhythmical, and extremely adjustable, allowing any distance to be met effortlessly. This makes him not only easy to ride but also highly suitable for the hunter and equitation rings.

One Codex possesses all the ingredients needed to grow into a successful career in the USA, where his type, movement, and mentality will be greatly appreciated.
