A striking colt with plenty of blood and presence, bred from an interesting and proven dam line.

The dam, Diva van het Gravenhof, was successfully competed for many years in the Belgian LRV circuit. Her oldest offspring, Nirvana vd Spruytakker, is now 13 years old and competing at 1.20m level in Italy. Her second foal is currently three years old.

Diva is also the full sister of the approved Zangersheide stallion Karuso van ’t Eigenlo. Her dam, Pocachontas vh Gravenhof, has produced several successful offspring as well. Besides Karuso, she produced Upsilon vh Gravenhof, who competed at 1.40m level with Roberto Arioldi in Italy, and Donna vh Gravenhof, who herself competed at 1.10m level and produced Gitte de L’Esku, successful at 1.35m level with Sem Pieters.

Diva’s granddam, Kalinka vh Gravenhof, also known as Freestyle, competed at 1.60m level and is the foundation of a highly interesting sport and breeding family. She produced, among others, the approved stallion Oberon vh Gravenhof. Her daughter Norka van het Gravenhof, in turn, produced Quinto vh Molenhof, a BWP-approved stallion who successfully competed up to 1.55m Grand Prix level.

Further in this family, we also find proven international sport quality. Penelope van het Gravenhof competed at 1.40m level with Philippe Rozier, while Audi’s Sisi van het Gravenhof successfully competed up to 1.45m level with Eric van der Vleuten.

The sire, Jericho de Hus, is a son of the legendary Emerald van ’t Ruytershof and the mare Babouchka de Hus. He therefore combines the proven 1.60m genetics of Emerald with a strong dam line featuring the influential sire Chacco-Blue. Jericho de Hus already showed his potential on the international stage as a young horse and competed at the World Championships for Young Show Jumpers in Lanaken.

This colt combines the sporting qualities of Diva van het Gravenhof with a dam line featuring 1.60m and 1.55m Grand Prix performers, approved stallions and several internationally successful show jumpers. On the sire’s side, this is complemented by the exceptional sport and breeding genetics of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof.

In the case of direct export to non-EU countries, VAT is no longer applicable (21% becomes 0%). If the export is delayed (but happens as soon as possible), the VAT will be refunded after we have received the official export document (which is drawn up by customs).
