This promising embryo brings together two exceptional sport and breeding lines. The dam, Amourette van ’t Meulenhof, is a daughter of the world-renowned sire Chacco-Blue and comes directly from the famous Carthina Z family. This makes the embryo part of one of the most successful dam lines in international show jumping.
Carthina Z has become a legendary broodmare and is the dam of, among others, Emerald van ’t Ruytershof and Diamanthina van ’t Ruytershof. Both competed successfully at 1.60m level and have, in turn, had an enormous influence on international sport and breeding. The family has also produced numerous other Grand Prix horses, with strong connections to the ’t Meulenhof and ’t Ruytershof breeding families. Top-level sport and breeding excellence have therefore been firmly established in this line for generations.
The sire, Comme Il Faut, is equally one of the most proven stallions of his generation. The son of Cornet Obolensky out of the legendary Ratina Z competed successfully at 1.60m and 1.65m level with Marcus Ehning. Among his many achievements, he won prestigious 5* classes in Brussels, Vienna, Madrid and Chantilly, as well as the GCL Play-Off in Prague.
Comme Il Faut has also established an exceptional reputation as a sire. His offspring have reached the highest levels of international show jumping, including Checker 47, Cuma 5 and Cemal, who have competed up to 1.65m level.
With Comme Il Faut x Amourette van ’t Meulenhof, this embryo combines the proven sport and breeding qualities of Comme Il Faut with the exceptional Carthina Z dam line through Chacco-Blue. A pedigree in which international Grand Prix sport, proven breeding quality and some of the most influential bloodlines in modern show jumping come together.

- Surrogate mare rental fee: €3,250
- Return: the surrogate mare must be returned to the Netherlands no later than 31 December 2027
