ABOUT
In this exceptional colt, two of the most influential bloodlines in modern showjumping come together: Emerald and Carthago. Thanks to carefully considered linebreeding, the strongest genes from these proven damlines are firmly anchored twice in his pedigree.
Dam Quickstead descends from Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof, who competed successfully at 1.60m level under Olivier Philippaerts. This son of Plot Blue is out of Diamanthina van ’t Ruytershof, the full sister to Emerald, who also shone at the highest level of the sport. The pedigree also features direct influence from Grand Prix stallions such as Quickly de Kreisker, Hickstead, and Numero Uno, all tracing back to the legendary A-Cover Girl – the 1.60m-classified full sister of the iconic stallion Carthago.
On the sire’s side, the spotlight is on none other than Highway TN – the 1.60m stallion ridden by Willem Greve, Dutch Champion and winner of the Rolex Grand Slam in ’s-Hertogenbosch 2024. A son of Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, Highway TN has more than proven his value in sport, with numerous international successes to his name.
In the case of direct export to non-EU countries, VAT is no longer applicable (21% becomes 0%). If the export is delayed (but happens as soon as possible), the VAT will be refunded after we have received the official export document (which is drawn up by customs).
