This striking colt is bred from an exceptionally proven dam line. His dam has already produced no fewer than five international sport horses, including Chicco van de Doornhaag Z, successful at 1.55m level, and Babisco van de Doornhaag, competing at 1.50m level.
Further back in this strong dam line, we find the international 1.60m performer Lancome. The family also includes several other internationally successful show jumpers. A dam line in which sporting quality and breeding success have been convincingly proven generation after generation.
The sire, Orak d’Hamwyck, is currently one of the exciting young Grand Prix horses in Belgian show jumping. The son of Tobago Z x Toulon is successfully competed by Frédéric Vernaet and recently made a strong impression at the prestigious Rolex Grand Prix of Brussels. In this 1.60m Grand Prix, the pair finished an impressive fifth, after also taking fifth place in the 1.55m qualifier earlier that week.
Orak d’Hamwyck has established himself as a proven 1.60m performer and has achieved several international top results, including eighth place in the World Cup in Bordeaux. His scope, sharpness and competitive attitude make him an interesting stallion for both sport and breeding.
This colt combines a dam line that has already produced multiple international sport horses with the modern Grand Prix genetics of Orak d’Hamwyck. An attractive colt from a proven family, with all the ingredients for a promising future in sport.
