This filly is bred from a dam line in which proven Grand Prix sport and outstanding breeding quality have come together for generations. Her granddam is the 1.60m mare J’Adore van het Schaeck, who competed successfully at the highest level. Her great-granddam, Carrera de Muze, has also proven herself to be an exceptional broodmare.

Carrera de Muze produced, among others, Walnut de Muze, the 1.60m Grand Prix mare successfully competed by Harrie Smolders. Further in this family, we find several horses competing at the highest international level, including the 1.60m performers Cazan Z, Caipiranja, Merveille de Muze and Narcotique de Muze. An impressive dam line in which top-level sport is firmly established.

The sire, Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, belongs to the absolute elite of show jumping. The son of Diamant de Semilly x Carthina Z (Carthago) competed successfully at 1.60m level for many years with Harrie Smolders. He won, among other achievements, the World Cup in Washington and Nations Cups in Aachen, Gijón and Falsterbo. He also represented Belgium at the Rio Olympic Games and finished second in the 2016 World Cup Final in Gothenburg.

Emerald has also built an exceptional reputation as a sire. He is responsible for numerous international top-level horses, including Imerald van ’t Voorhof, Jaguar van de Berghoeve and Nikka van de Bisschop, who themselves have competed at 1.65m level and above. His influence on modern show jumping breeding is now firmly established.
