The dam of this colt, Valentina IX, has already proven herself strongly as a broodmare. She is the dam of the successful 1.60m performer Davenport VDL, who competed internationally with Laura Klaphake. She also produced Cornetino, successful at 1.45m level, and Lentina, competing at 1.40m level. A mare who has clearly passed on her quality to her offspring.
The granddam also has an impressive record as a broodmare. She produced, among others, the 1.60m performer Corlanda, as well as Corland and Clapton VDL. The achievements within this dam line speak for themselves: a highly proven family with a strong concentration of top-level sport genetics.
The sire, Contagio Z, is a son of Colman x Lordanos and developed into a proven international Grand Prix performer. Ridden by Elizabeth Halliday-Sharp and previously by Tobias Meyer, he achieved numerous successes at the highest level. His highlights include victory in the Grand Prix of Frankfurt and a Nations Cup win, alongside numerous top placings in international 5* competitions and on the Global Champions Tour.
Contagio Z has also established himself as a successful sire. Since the end of 2020, he has been standing at Zangersheide, where his proven sport genetics continue to be passed on to the next generation.
This colt combines an exceptionally proven dam line featuring multiple 1.60m performers with the international Grand Prix genetics of Contagio Z. A pedigree in which top-level sport and breeding quality come together convincingly.
In the case of direct export to non-EU countries, VAT is no longer applicable (21% becomes 0%). If the export is delayed (but happens as soon as possible), the VAT will be refunded after we have received the official export document (which is drawn up by customs).
