This promising filly is bred from Hecathol van het Weidse Hof (Catwalk 19 x Toulon), a mare from the renowned ’t Weidse Hof breeding programme. Hecathol was successfully competed by Belgian rider Jean-Christophe De Grande, achieving several placings in national and international show jumping, including young horse competitions in Vlamertinge and international classes in Oliva.

Her dam line also has a strong sporting record, with several internationally successful show jumpers found further back in the family. Hecathol therefore provides an interesting sport-oriented foundation for breeding.

The sire, Contagio Z, is a son of Colman x Lordanos and developed into a proven international Grand Prix performer. Ridden by Elizabeth Halliday-Sharp and previously by Tobias Meyer, he achieved numerous successes at the highest level. His highlights include victory in the Grand Prix of Frankfurt and a Nations Cup win, alongside numerous top placings in international 5* competitions and on the Global Champions Tour.

Contagio Z has also made his mark as a sire. Since the end of 2020, he has been standing at Zangersheide, where his proven sport genetics continue to be passed on to the next generation.

This filly combines the Grand Prix quality of Contagio Z with a proven Belgian dam line from the renowned ’t Weidse Hof breeding programme. An interesting combination of international sport genetics, quality and promising breeding potential.
