Amaro van de Werf is a two-year-old stallion already showing great promise for the future. He is sired by Mosito van het Hellehof and out of Grace van de Werf, a mare who competed at the 1.50m level with top riders such as Henk van de Pol and Harrie Smolders. Grace is a daughter of Querlybet Hero, descending further from Parco and Landino—a damline rich in proven performance. The Landino mare herself jumped at the 1.45m level, and Grace has already produced a 1.40m horse.

During free jumping, Amaro van de Werf stood out for his excellent use of the back and hindquarters. For such a young horse, he showed remarkable confidence and jumped with natural ease and conviction.
