ABOUT
Sommersby Z is an elegant mare with all the ingredients for a bright future in sport. She is sired by Hunters Scendro and carries on her dam’s side the valuable blood of Kashmir van Schuttershof and Darco—two of the most influential sires in modern showjumping breeding. Her granddam produced the 1.55 m horse Anuschka de Beclo, and the 1.60 m performer Kiana van het Herdershof (ridden by Daniel Deusser) also comes from this proven dam line.
In the ring, Sommersby Z stands out for her carefulness, intelligence, and scope. She is quick-thinking, attentive, and consistently gives her best effort. In trot she is light-footed and elegant, while her canter shows natural balance, rhythm, and adjustability.
With a lovely character, strong work ethic, and rideability, she is suitable for a wide range of riders. Sommersby Z is ready to move forward in her training and shows real potential for the sport.
