This blood-made colt is out of the mare Winnetou van ’t Heike (Ceasar ter Linden x Calvados). She comes from a dam line featuring several internationally successful show jumpers, particularly known for producing high-quality, rideable sport horses. In the fourth generation, we find the 1.60m performer Corlando.
The sire, Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, belongs to the absolute world elite of show jumping. The son of Diamant de Semilly x Carthina Z (Carthago) competed successfully at 1.60m level for many years with Harrie Smolders. Among his many achievements, he finished second in the 2016 World Cup Final in Gothenburg, represented Belgium at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and won several prestigious Nations Cups, including in Aachen, Rotterdam, Gijón, Falsterbo and Gothenburg. He also won 5* Grand Prix classes in Chantilly and Bordeaux.
Emerald has also built an exceptional reputation as a sire. He is responsible for numerous international top-level show jumpers, including Igor, Imerald van ’t Voorhof and Mandato van de Neerheide, all of whom have competed up to 1.65m level. His offspring are renowned for their scope, quality and competitive attitude.
In the case of direct export to non-EU countries, VAT is no longer applicable (21% becomes 0%). If the export is delayed (but happens as soon as possible), the VAT will be refunded after we have received the official export document (which is drawn up by customs).
